Frontend Learning Group for Women 🔥
In June of 2022, I launched a new initiative under my nonprofit Our Time For Tech, called the Frontend Learning Group for Women (or FLGW).
My purpose for FLGW is simple: to provide a supportive, low-pressure opportunity for women to learn frontend development, as a foundation for a future lucrative career.
I especially sought women who are Black, based in Africa, or are mothers.
After the application process, I ended up with 26 women hailing from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon, Great Britain and the United States. 🎉
The experience has been exhilarating! I have included some tweets from the participants below.

For the free data, I thank you. For the time

My first Javascript project. A basketball scoreboard. Learnt about specificity and css selectors. Used variables, functions, DOM manipulation, number data type and strings.
